At Kamruddin Consulting, we believe that some of the most valuable conversations in healthcare happen around a table rather than on a stage. That was certainly the case at our recent breakfast briefing, Scaling AI in Healthcare, delivered on behalf of our client, GoodCore Software.
GoodCore approached us with a clear objective: to create an intimate, high-value discussion that would bring together senior NHS and government leaders with founders and executives from HealthTech and MedTech companies to explore one of healthcare’s biggest opportunities – and challenges.
Our role extended far beyond organising an event.
We worked with the GoodCore team to shape an agenda that would encourage practical discussion rather than theoretical debate. We secured a high profile guest speaker, invited a carefully curated audience of healthcare leaders, innovators and decision-makers, and facilitated the discussion to ensure every voice around the table could contribute.
The conversation reinforced something we see repeatedly across healthcare. AI is no longer the question. The real challenge is how organisations scale it safely, responsibly and in ways that genuinely improve patient care and operational performance.
Events like these remind us why we enjoy working with ambitious technology companies. Sometimes the greatest value we can add isn’t simply opening doors, it’s bringing together the right people, creating the right environment and enabling conversations that lead to new ideas, stronger partnerships and meaningful collaboration.
A huge thank you to GoodCore Software for asking us to curate and facilitate the session, to Professor Shafi Ahmed for sharing his experience and challenge to the audience, and to everyone who contributed so openly throughout the morning.
Rather than summarising the discussion ourselves, GoodCore CEO Yasin Altaf has captured the key themes and takeaways in his excellent blog:
Scaling AI in Healthcare: Lessons from the Front Line
We look forward to continuing these conversations as healthcare moves from talking about AI to delivering it at scale.
